AM angered at appalling bus service
Christine Chapman AM has raised concern following reports from constituents who have suffered as a result of appalling bus services in their communities. (2nd July 2010)
The Cynon Valley AM said;
“I have been inundated with complaints about a number of local services and am appalled at some of the horror stories that have been relayed to me.”
Incidents have included buses constantly breaking down, passengers being locked on the bus while waiting for a driver handover and worryingly, the unresponsive attitude of bus service providers.
The AM continued :
“This is unacceptable and I am working constantly with the Traffic Commissioner to try and remedy the situation. I will also continue to raise this issue at the Assembly as the situation is fast deteriorating and I do now think that enough is enough.”
